FODE BANGOURA TRIP TO GUINEA:
DECEMBER 26, 2011 - JANUARY 2012 for
TWO, THREE OR FOUR WEEKS
Since 2006 Fode has successfully brought students to Guinea to experience the cultural immersion of a lifetime. Students have the unique opportunity to study with members of "Les Ballets Africains", as well as observe their rehearsals and performances.
Outside of classes student will attend local Doudoubas (drum and dance circles), go to the local markets, experience the night life of Conakry, have instruments hand made and most of all connect with the people of Guinea.
Pricing includes: Room and Board, 3 meals a day of delicious African food (Rice, chicken, fish, vegetables, fresh fruit), Dance and drum classes, transportation to workshop related events.
Not included in pricing: Airfare to Conakry, Visa, Free time activities (shopping, taxis, night clubs, etc.)
You may choose to come for 2, 3, or 4 weeks. The price will be $500 per week, with early bird discount available. The price does not include airfare, so be sure to check out the prices to Conakry. Plan to arrive on Monday, December 26, 2011.
